Heres to hoping Apple will jump on the bandwagon with AMD and make some AMD Notebooks w/ Mac OS X Drivers.
Why? So we can Hackintosh Mac OS X even cheaper!
… One can hope right?

Although I love the speed and stability of Intel processors, AMD has some pretty affordable, powerful stuff out right now. I’ve always been fond of their GPUs, and it looks like this will be a tough competitor.

It’s nice to see AMD finally creeping up on Intel.

Just sad that it has to be an AMD CPU lol. They have fallen behind Intel quite a bit in these past few years and aren’t quite worth the price/performance they used to be. Not to mention the nice extra instruction sets Intel supports.

This should just about kill the new Core i3/i5. Their attractiveness was in the significantly upgraded integrated graphics. If the “A” series CPU is up to Phenom II X4 specs, I have no doubt the graphics side will crush Intel’s integrated option. Combine that with the historically lower AMD price point and this should rock.
