Canon PIXMA MX432 Wireless All In One Printer

Today’s printers are no longer used just for printing office documents. They have since moved on to also have the capability to print digital photos as well. And since people now usually capture digital images not only using their digital cameras but also smartphones and tablets as well. That is why it pays to have a printer with WiFi capability like the Canon PIXMA MX432 Wireless All In One Printer.

The Canon PIXMA MX432 Wireless All In One Printer is actually not just an ordinary printer but a scanner and a fax machine as well. This makes it an ideal printer to have at home as well as in the office. But what would probably make it more appealing to some people is that it also features the capability to be set up and connected into a wireless network. It also comes with the AirPrint feature which allows users to print images and documents created from their Apple iDevices like the iPhone, iPod or the iPad tablet. There’s no need for users to deal with wires and device drivers to make use of the printing feature. All it requires is for users to download the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint mobile app on their portable iDevice. A similar app is also available for Android devices.

Canon Announces Pixma Pro-1 Photo Printer

Canon has announed its latest photo printer during a media event in New York. The Pixma Pro-1, according to Canon, is the “world’s first A3+ printer with 12 separate inks.”

The printer comes with 12 ink cartridges: the Photo and Matte black inks, three gray inks of different shades, Cyan, Photo Cyan, Magenta, Photo Magenta, Yellow, and Red. Do not feel worried about having to replace cartridges very often, as the ink tanks are 2.5 times larger than from older Pixma models. It is also more advanced to the previous Pixmas because of its double the amount of input resolution at 1,200 dots per inch. The gadget also has a Chroma Optimizer, which adds richness to blacks and uniformity to glossiness; as well as Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint Pro software, which works both as its own tool and a Photoshop plug-in.

The Canon Pixma Pro-1 features front-opening panels for quick access, a rear paper tray that can take up to 20 sheets of photo paper, and a manual feed slot for heavier papers up to 14 inches wide. It is now available for $ 999.
