Sprint Offers Two LTE-Capable Smartphones
Sprint is about to unleash its LTE network in selected markets and America’s third largest wireless carrier has introduced a couple of compatible Android smartphones.
The Sprint Galaxy Nexus (right), which was leaked in a recent online ad, is the carrier’s take on the Nexus handset. This one has just 16GB of internal storage (compared to 32GB of the Verizon model), and sports a faster processor than its Verizon counterpart at 1.5GHz.
Meanwhile, the LG Viper 4G LTE (left) comes with 4-inch Nova display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread, and an NFC chip that supports Google Wallet mobile payment system. It is also created with the environment in mind, as its case is partially made of recycled plastic and it ships with a super-efficient AC adapter.
No word on availability, though, but expect them to arrive really soon.
